Great puzzle game, beautiful design! Detailed, connected and engaging. Fun characters with a great storyline. Puzzles are challenging, sometimes complex and satisfying!

I dont usually like computer games, but this was amazing! The images are cute, the game itself is fun, and the ending even brought a tear to my eye. I dont really know what to say, except that Im sad it is over (but I will play it again and again!) This was just so much fun! BUY IT!!
this is a fun and cute and cool puzzle game and not really complicated. i find Machinarium is harder than this game. the only complain i have is that it is too short!XD i finished the game in less than a day!:)
This game kept my mind busy and my spirit soaring. So many happy moments where the characters each have their time to shine. Amazing how much these guys have done to build a story….with no words! Keep it up! So happy I bought this after Machinarium!
I love Machinarium, that’s why I bought this game in the first place. However comparing to Machinarium, the puzzle disgned here is not that good. Instead of brilliant puzzles, I need to spend a lot of time finding itmes in maze. There is a simple map, but you can’t click on it and get where you want to go. Since the maze have so much crossings and you would lost direction easily, I really hope they can provide a map which could acturally work. The art is full of design, but it’s just not my style. Some creatures in the game are just creepy…. I remembered a creature looks like a baby head, with many spike-shape humps on it’s face…..I just don’t get it. If you expect the same quality as Machinarium, you may get disappointed.
It was yes.
I purchased this game as I loved Machinarium. There was no expectation that Botanicula would be like Machinarium but I wanted to give it a try as it was developed by the same group. In many ways I think Botanicula is a great complement to Machinarium. Machinarium has great logical puzzles that make sense and have a very logical sense to them, which goes with the theme of the robots and industrial city, etc.. I fell in love the first time I played it. These developers took a great risk to move away from that formula and in Botanicula to bring a lighter more natural interaction and exploration of your environment with many different creatures. It is very fitting to have the more organic puzzels and thinking with this game being based around creatures and plants. If you buy in to the first scene and realize that your team of creatures are the last hope for this dying world being sucked away by a “blackhole” creature, this game can reveal a lot of beauty. Play this game if you just want a few minutes or hours of happiness in your day. Play this game if you want some sense that living beings of many different shapes and sizes and colors can work towards overcoming destruction. Thank you for brining this game to us! I thouroughly enjoyed it and it made me smile.
