lovely <3

it is lovely funny game, i enjoyed every moment of this game BUT 9.99 is too much for such a short game, i would say 3.99 would be fair enough

So beautiful

One of the most beautiful video game I played in a very long time. Challenging at time, I never had to look online for a solution (I was close though). So the gameplay is near perfect.

great game!

a little bit pricy, i finished this game within hours. hope it was longer. then it would worth the money.but still a very insteresting game! recommend.

Intriguing, fun and dreamy

This is one of my favorite puzzle games, love the fun puzzles, scenes and music so relaxing and dreamy

The only way to follow Machinarium

It may not be the sequel many were hoping for, but with beautiful visuals and immersive gameplay, Botanicula is better then anyone could have wished for. Were taken from the mechanic to the organic this time, with an abstract natural theme (if thats even possible) that perfectly compliments and contrasts Machinarium. This a puzzle game that encourages the player to explore (you cant make mistakes, only connections), and though there are no words to guide you, there is a hint system included to ensure no one gets permanently stuck. Actually calling Botanicula a game is doing it a disservice, this is interactive art.

Fantastic!

Truely in every sense it is. This game is always reminding me of my childhood and the innocence about it-being that it reminds me of the old Roger Rabbit adventure games I used to play. Beautiful artstyle with vibrant colors with odd and creative characters along with puzzle design. This game is not very difficult in any matter, but charms in all aspects. For $10 I still say thats too steep a price but worth every dollar regardless. A zombie can manage a smile while playing this game, its that brilliant.

Great Work Amanita!

I love it, it has very weird yet enjoyable artwork brilliantly meshed with original point and click content. I would suggest advertising this more, I found this by accident when I clicked your site url while playing Machinarium.

Pure Genius !

Love Amanita Designs. Always full of elegance, beauty, a sense of innocence and humanity. Hope I can get Botanicula on iPad as well, so I can play the game anywhere …….

Just great!

This is a worthy follow up to Machinarium, even if it is not quite as long and the music is slightly less amazing. The art is uncommonly mesmerizing, the design consistently suprising and challenging (but never too challenging). The sound effects are just delightful, and music has a lot of great moments. Unlike Machinarium, however, there are a couply screens where the music quickly becomes irritating, and if you dont solve the puzzle right away, you find yourself wanting to turn the sound down. But this is a minor complaint. Also, I really liked the five-protagonists-idea. It is good that they reduced the number of games-within-games in Botanicula. There were a few too many in Machinarium, which distracted at times from the narrative experience. I admire Aminita for trying to make something new. If they just went for Machinarium all over again (a la Hollywood), it would have probably been less worthwhile.

The best game ever!!!!

This game is amazing. The soundtrack is unique and fresh, and the graphics and storyline are awesome. If you are looking for a true point and click game, this is the one!

Wonderfully created!

This is a beautifully created game, humble and innocent, from the sounds to the artwork, and is great for the whole family. I have no regrets with the price or purchase of this game, there are a lot worse things that you could spend ten dollars on! I cant wait for the next chapter in Amanita games!

Terrific!

Bontanicula is a joy to play! It has a great soundtrack with enlightened animation. It is creative and allows for a lot of exploration. None of the puzzles are too difficult to figure out, and the game is longer than Machinarium. The characters are adorable. Totatlly worth the price!

pure perfection

Played it with my 6 yr old. It was perfect for both of us - poetic, imaginative and mildly challenging.

Wonderful, Astonishing Creativity

Ill admit it: Im not much of a gamer, these days. But every now and then, when I need a break from thesis-writing, I look for games that can tell me stories, that can engage other parts of my brain in creative and refreshing ways. Botanicula does this in spades; the entire universe the game is set in is completely alien, and must be explored and interacted with to yield understanding. The creatures are delightful, surprising, occasionally laugh-out-loud funny, and always touchingly sweet and innocent (which is something of a hallmark for Amanita Designs work -- I also recommend Machinarium unequivocally). The scenery is exquisitely beautiful, the colors rich and saturated, the interface easy to figure out with a satisfying number of totally unique puzzles, and the soundtrack is so much fun I went and bought it from iTunes as soon as Id finished the game. If shoot-em-up is not your style, and youre looking for a puzzle game that is like nothing else youve seen, this is the game.

Beautiful follow to Machinarium

After being reignited in my game playing with Machinarium, I was excited for Amanita next game and Im happy to say Im very pleased with Botanicula…My 5 year old watched me machinarium and loved it. This time with Botanicula he felt compelled to get over his fear of using the touch pad on my Macbook and experiment in the wonderful world of Botanicula to help the little tree spirits on their adventure. I agree the music for Machinarium is better, but still nice, especially the intro song. The graphics are stunning and the game play felt very natural and intuitive. The game was shorter than Machinarium and puzzles felt easier. No technical issues at all. Very impressed and I cant wait for the next one!

no retina support

this app is blurry on mac pro retina and i was not able to get a refund… the developer did not state this in the description, so 1 star

Creatively unique

Very unique unlike any game created by amanita, everything was great, the music, the story, and visuals. Now one of my fave games.

Thank You For Another Masterpiece

Between this and Manchrium truley games that are works of art. AMAZING!!!!!.. The games are gorgeous, the game play is intuitive and more than anything the story line is dynamic while staying light and positive.

Love it!

Love this game, just wish an update with more levels would come out.
