Immensely clever and creative

Its one of those games where you have to remind yourself not to rush through it-- Its all about the journey!
Goal-oriented gameplay (collecting objects) and exploration, with whimsical creatures throughout. Marvelous use of color, light, and sound (and music!) to set the mood of the game, which is anything but flat. Characterization of the creatures is superb. The game designers actually make you LIKE them and care about their success on the voyage. Hard to do with no dialogue!
